General Notary Work (GNW)
General notary work includes notarizing signatures on common documents used in daily life, and business. This type of service is typically needed when paperwork requires identity verification, and a properly completed notarization. Examples of documents, commonly notarized under a general notary work include, but are not limited to:
✤ Powers of Attorney
✤ Affidavits
✤ Jurats
✤ Acknowledgments
✤ Healthcare Directives and Living Wills
✤ Trust Documents
✤ Short-Term Rental Agreements
✤ Contracts & Agreements
✤ Partnership or Operating Agreements
✤ Beneficiary Designation Forms
✤ Proof of Residency
✤ DMV Forms
Loan Signing & Real Estate Documents
Loan signing services are used for real estate transactions that involve full loan packages rather than a single document. These appointments typically include multiple documents and specific signing instructions tied to the transaction itself.
This service is commonly needed when you’re buying or selling a home, refinancing a mortgage, or completing a home equity loan or HELOC. Loan packages often include documents such as deeds of trust or mortgages, promissory notes, closing disclosures, notices of right to cancel, and other lender or title-required forms.
Because there’s more involved than a standard notarization, I guide borrowers through the signing process, help ensure everything is completed correctly, and make sure documents are returned as required by the lender or title company.
Specialty & Supplementary Notary Services
Some documents require more than a standard notarization. These services are used in situations where additional verification, coordination, or documentation is needed beyond everyday notary work.
Estate Planning Signings (COMING SOON)
Details
Estate planning signings involve important legal documents related to long-term planning and personal decision-making. These appointments are often coordinated with an attorney and may include multiple documents signed in a specific order.
Common estate planning documents include wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and living wills. These signings are typically more detailed and may require extra time to ensure everything is completed correctly and in accordance with legal requirements.
I-9 Employment Verification
Details
I-9 verification is used to confirm an individual’s identity and authorization to work in the United States. Employers may request a neutral third party to complete this verification when a new hire cannot appear in person at the employer’s office.
This service involves reviewing acceptable identification documents and completing the employer-provided I-9 verification instructions. While this is not a notarization, it is an in-person verification service commonly requested by employers, staffing agencies, and remote workplaces.
Field Inspections (COMING SOON)
Details
Field inspections are on-site verification services used when a physical presence is required to confirm information or document conditions. These inspections are commonly requested by insurance companies, lenders, or third-party verification services.
Examples include property condition checks, occupancy verification, photo documentation, or compliance confirmations. These services typically involve following specific instructions, documenting findings, and submitting required information after the visit.
Apostille Assistance (COMING SOON)
Details
Apostille assistance is for documents that will be used internationally and must meet specific authentication requirements. While notaries do not issue apostilles, I help guide clients through the preparation process to ensure documents are ready for submission to the appropriate state or federal office.
Documents commonly requiring apostilles include birth certificates, marriage certificates, powers of attorney, educational records, and legal documents intended for use outside the United States.
